Studio Mas o Menos is a design studio based in Sacramento, California.

Our role as designers is to help you, the client, create the best possible version of your home. 

Studio Mas o Menos was founded in 2024 by Megan Chilimidos and Sharareh Lotfi. The phrase “mas o menos” translates roughly to “more or less.” Sharareh, who grew up in Venezuela, proposed the name. It may seem like a noncommittal phrase, but we would like to acknowledge and embrace its flexibility. A home is never really “done,” our needs and lives change and certain details in our home may need to evolve to reflect those changes.    

There is no way to think about designing a home without also acknowledging that a home is not something everyone is afforded. Studio Mas o Menos will donate a portion of our proceeds each month to an organization in the Sacramento area working with the unhoused.
